A fun piece of horse show history! This Big Sky Blankets nylon stable sheet from Helena, Montana, was awarded to the Far West 1985 Reserve Cutting Horse Champion. The older nylon has a smooth, rain-jacket-like feel that’s different from many modern sheets. It may offer some resistance to moisture, but waterproofing has not been tested.
