Condition & details
Lightweight western shanked bit featuring aluminum cheeks paired with a sweet iron ported mouthpiece. The aluminum shanks keep the overall bit lighter in the horse’s mouth, while the sweet iron mouthpiece develops the characteristic dark oxidation that is normal for this material.
The long 9” swept-back shanks provide leverage, making this a nice option for an appropriately trained western horse in performance or everyday riding situations.
