This bit is WONDERFUL if you or someone using this bit is heavy/heavier handed, or tends to stay in the horse’s mouth too much (like I tend to do).
The ability to move the reins allows for a much more comfortable ride for both horse - without being over controlling on a horse that is already being correct in what is asked.
This bit has allowed me personally to get out of my horses mouth, think about what I am asking of my horse, and not “bit force“ or cause added discomfort in what I am trying to get my horse to do….it gives a little “reaction time” on the riders’ part to correctly ask the horse what is wanted.
Our rides are much more enjoyable now, and we are developing and acquiring respect for each other.
I did add cheek guards to mine as my horse has a smaller/odd sized mouth (hard to find) and now this one works perfectly!
This bit has been a definite game changer for us!
