SMT Premium Hand-Stitched Leather Bit Guards

Our Premium Leather Bit Guards are made in-house from a laminated combination of Hermann Oak veg-tan leather and premium Horween full-grain premium leather, creating a substantial, durable guard with a rich leather face and a firm, supportive backing.

Each pair is individually cut, laminated, beveled, and finished by hand, then saddle stitched with durable waxed polyester thread for strength and a clean, distinctive look. Pre-cut attachment slots and included leather ties make installation simple while keeping the guards securely positioned on the bit.

Unlike thin, mass-produced bit guards, these have real body and structure. The Hermann Oak backing provides strength and stability, while the premium leather face gives each pair its own natural grain, character, and depth. Because genuine leather is a natural material, subtle variations in color and texture are expected and part of what makes every pair unique.
