Our Facebook Live Sales are part tack sale, part treasure hunt, and part barn-aisle conversation. New gear, consignment finds, questions, jokes, and the occasional game all move at live-video speed—but newcomers are always welcome.
What Happens During an SMT Live Sale?
During each sale, we show items one at a time so you can get a better look before claiming them. You can see the details, hear about condition and sizing, and ask questions while the item is still on screen.
The selection changes from one series to the next, but you may find:
- New and gently used Western and English tack
- One-of-a-kind consignment pieces
- Horse-care products and dac® supplements
- Riding apparel and accessories
- Grey Horse Candle Company candles, wax melts, and gifts
- Clearance items, shop finds, and limited-quantity deals
Some products are regular shop favorites. Others may appear once and never return. That unpredictability is part of the fun.
More Than a Way to Shop
The chat is every bit as important as the merchandise.
Customers compare experiences, ask questions, celebrate each other’s finds, and occasionally help someone identify the piece of tack they have been trying to describe for the last five minutes. Regular shoppers help newcomers get oriented, and nobody is expected to arrive knowing exactly how a live sale works.
We also talk through products as they appear—how something is used, what type of horse it may suit, what condition a consignment item is in, or why one option might work better than another.
It feels less like shopping from a catalog and more like spending an evening with a group of horse people who happen to be surrounded by tack.
How to Join and Claim Items
Getting started is simple:
- Follow Spotted M Tack on Facebook. That is where we publish upcoming dates, reminders, and changes to the schedule.
- Watch for the next live-sale series. Our sales generally run across several evenings, with new groups of products featured each night.
- Join the live video. Tanya explains the claiming process at the beginning of the sale, so you’ll know exactly what to enter in the comments.
- Claim what you love. If you are unsure about an item, ask while it is being shown.
- Watch for your invoice. We combine your claimed items and send payment and shipping information after the series.
Because many items are available in limited quantities—especially used and consignment tack—the first valid claim receives the item.

Deal or No Deal
Some live-sale series include our customer-favorite game, Deal or No Deal.
No purchase is required to qualify. Viewers can earn entries by participating during the sale, with the current rules explained during the live event.
At the end of the series, one participant is selected to play. The player chooses a mystery bag while the remaining bags are opened one at a time. Along the way, the bank may make offers to tempt them away from their original choice.
Every player leaves with a prize, such as store credit or free shipping. It’s one more way we thank the people who spend their evenings shopping, chatting, and laughing with us.
